The student council at Ellesmere College is made up of 12 students aged 4-19 throughout the college.
All students have been elected by their peers to be a “voice” for the students and share ideas. In addition, we have two head students who regularly feedback to the Principal after each meeting.
Student council this year have been involved in staff interviews, designing the new school logo, Post 16 uniform, student surveys, rewards for Ellesmere Personal Qualities, as well as deciding on the whole school performance for the summer and helping to plan the Fun Day.
The head students are actively involved in reporting back student voice to the Governors.
The student council feel valued and a worthy group within the College and understand they are able to influence change.
