Dress Code for Post-16 students
From September 2019 Post 16 students will have the option to wear non-school uniform to college.
If students want to continue to wear uniform then they have the option of continuing to wear their existing clothes or to purchase a post 16 hoodie through the fanatics website.
Whilst we encourage students to exercise their own choice in their clothing it is important that students appreciate that the Post 16 department of Ellesmere College is a serious work environment and that they are in a school with much younger pupils present.
In choosing their own clothes they must ensure that the following rules are adhered to:
- Students must be clean and well presented each day.
- Shorts/dresses/skirts must be knee length or longer.
- Cleavage and midriffs should not be visible.
- Underwear should not be visible.
- There must be no offensive slogans.
- Hats, caps and hoods should not be worn inside the building
