School Meals
Our school meals are provided by Leicestershire Traded Services. All food is cooked from fresh ingredients on site including fresh bread. The menus meet the government food based standards and LTS have won awards for nutritious food in schools. Students are able to choose their meal in the morning via the class whiteboard. There are 3 choices available, a meat option, a vegetarian option and a light bite option and all meals come with a choice of dessert. Special diets will be catered for and the menu is displayed.
Toast will still be provided to students that want it when they arrive in school, but there will be no food available to purchase at break time. We are therefore asking parents to send their child into school with a healthy snack if they want one i.e. fruit or vegetables. School dinners are paid for using ParentPay.
